  2. Take a class together. Is there something that you want to learn? Perhaps you have wanted to take a pottery class. Alternatively, perhaps you wanted to learn to ride a horse when you were a kid. When you are both new at something, like this, you create an instant bond as you work to learn something together!
  3. Do fun, simple things together. Head to the beach for a day in the water with friends, You can even bring along a picnic basket. Go to a church carnival or the county fair together and check out the animals. Take the time to visit a friend's home. If you look around your neighborhood, you are likely to find numerous activities you can do with each other that is completely enjoyable and appropriate.

As a rule, during the first few dates you have, you should keep it completely appropriate by doing things in a public place. For example, rather than going back to your house, go out for dinner.
